After drawing out the the plans for our clients to approve, we have marked out the borders, removed the turf, incroporated soil improver, planted the plants, and applied a generous layer of woodchip.
Over the duration of this coming season the plants and shrubs will continue to establish, filling out more of the borders, so our clients can enjoy the floral delights, without having to do too much.
We have planted a number of perennials in these borders, Hollyhocks, Verbena Bonariensis, Sedum Matrona, Heuchera spp. and Digitalis. There are some firm favourite here which will flourish over the coming months, with a bouquet of colour to greet our clients when they arrive home or gaze out of the window.
For now the evergreen staple of Viburnum tinus, Choisya ternata, Photinia 'Red Robin', and Cornus alba Sibirica will provide the interest throughout the winter months.
