A Garden Design and Installation in Ruyton-XI-Towns, Shropshire
Process: Initially we discussed with our clients the changes that they would like to see in the garden, enabling us to take a brief and converting this into the design.
We also designed a planting plan, together with some of the client's favourite plants, installing a pallete of colour and texture that will provide year round interest, but still allow time for the finer things in life.
The garden, as you can see, follows a determined logic, and throughout there is wonderful colour, the sleeper beds provide a natural feel and the gravel will most certainly provide a crunch underfoot as it is walked upon.
The sleeper decking abutts the central pathway to the garden gate, favoured instead of normal decking to keep the proportions right in the garden. This area now hosts two brilliant sculptures from the West Midlands, for our clients to admire as they sit on their new patio.
The pathway to the garage, although out of sight from the main house, has been dedicated to self-sufficiency, with soft fruit being grown in the raised bed which flows around the west side of the garden.
There are four trees that we installed in the garden, these not only bring different form and colour, but they will over time block more of the view down the garden, encouraging visitors to explore its entirety.
Jacksons Fencing Chillam Fence Panel and Concave Metal Topper Installation in High Ercall, Shropshire
We have removed the existing close board fencing, and replaced it with a Jacksons Fencing Chillam Panel and Concave Metal Railing Topper.
The Chillam Panel is constructed without rails and gives the same modern contemporary feel on both sides, which looks superb when combined with the Concave Metal Railing Topper.
We also selected heavy duty post for this installation to counter the constant buffering from the roadside traffic, even though the post are set in 800mm of postcrete, we thought it essential over its 25 year guaranteed life.
A simple garden border which boasts colour throughout the summer months, simplicity and low maintenance for this architect in London.
As they say he had redesigned the house prior to sale, but he didn't have the colourful border and that is when he contacted us.
Contact us to discuss your garden design requirements for 2019, and we look forward to hearing from you.
