Colourful planting along a fence line - Front Garden Design Ideas - Garden Ideas - Garden Designer - Garden Plans - Front Garden Planting Ideas - Hornby Garden Designs - Bomere Heath - UK
The enclosure of outdoor space began in 10,000 BC and it goes to show how little changes.
Here in Bomere Heath we have softened the front garden fence with evergreen climbing Clematis - Apple Blossom and Early Sensation, which over the next season establish and intertwine with the fence. Their sweet scent and pink star shaped flowers from March through to April, will contrast well against the large green glossy leaves.
To add further interest we have planted three roses bred by David Austin - The Generous Gardener - an exquisite rose with large cup shaped flowers in July/September and a deliciously strong fragrance.
At the foot of the fence line we have planted English Lavender which will provide a wonderful hue of purple throughout the summer months, attracting a whole host of pollinators.
